Sierra Burror, a senior at Bishop Union High, won the girls 3,200 meters in 10:53.66 and placed second in the 1,600 meters in 5:10.70 at the CIF Central Section South Area Championships at Bakersfield Liberty High. Burror advanced in both events to the Central Section Championships on June 19 at Veterans Memorial Stadium at Buchanan High in Clovis.
